The 41st Annual Wilton House Antiques Fair, one of the highlights of the South-West antiques calendar, opens on Friday, March 2 to Sunday, March 4, 2018, 10.30am – 5pm, entry £6.00.
Held at the Palladian home of the Earl and Countess of Pembroke, this independent, three-day event hosts over 40 exhibitors offering a variety of fine, country and mid C20th furniture, Oriental and European porcelain and glass, rugs and textiles, superb silver, jewellery, clocks and bronzes, rare books, high quality oil paintings, watercolours and prints, as well as a wide range of decorative, period collectables.
The Fair is located in two areas: the Cloisters in the House, and the Old Riding School in the North Forecourt. Both have a wide variety of stands and dealers are more than happy to discuss pieces with buyers and browsers
Quality is assured by a vetting committee of experts many of whom as members of BADA, LAPADA or CADA, ensuring accurately described antiques which may be bought with confidence by the serious collector and the novice enthusiast alike.
So with something for everyone, you will be sure to find the perfect piece to invest in, treat someone to or just simply indulge yourself with.
The Wilton House Restaurant will be open daily throughout the Fair, serving coffee, light lunches and teas, and the Gift Shop will also be open for cards, gifts and membership enquiries.
