The Chafyn Grove boarders walked in to a snowy Salisbury last Sunday. Their mission was to leave useful fleeces and coats tied to lamp posts in the City centre with a sign attached saying PLEASE TAKE ONE.
The idea was that those who would need the extra layer of warmth could simply help themselves. They were delighted to see a couple of hours later that indeed all but one of the offerings had been taken. In a weekend full of fun in the snow and making memories it was truly rewarding to see the children thinking of others less fortunate than themselves. Their gesture hopefully spread a little warmth around Salisbury in more ways than one.
